A film was produced by the training and research centre of Gujarat Forest Department. This documentary film represents a collective picture of wild animals and rare birds residing in Saurashtra region. The region itself is interesting as it has a diversity of having Sasan forest to harsh barren land extending to Kutch. The region is dry and rains starve but it is also known for grasslands and high quality fodder crop.

The main player of the film is obviously “Panthera leo persica” , for common people it is Asiatic Lion. The only habitat of Asiatic Lion in the world. The second player is also very selective in its habitat, “Equus hemionus khur” or the Wild Ass found only in this region. Among many co-habitats Great Indian Bustard, Lesser Floricans, Flamingos are treat to watch.[/column][/row]
